Situation: Good. 1964. 224 content. Photographic dirt jacket with black lettering over bluish fabric. B&W photos throughout. Thoroughly clean content with company binding. Little foxing and tanning to endpapers and page edges. Mild put to back, board border and sides, with sunning to spine. Unclipped particles jacket. Minor deterioration to sides and corners. Simple tanning and soiling to DJ.

Condition: fair to close, reasonable to great. 224, illus., endpaper maps, list, some darkening & foxing ins bds & flyleaves, DJ soiled: small tears, some advantage wear, little potato chips. Fore-edge soiled. Mcdougal served as British Ambassador to Jordan from heart on the Suez problems of 1956 until 1960. For the following three-years, 1st as Governor after which as High administrator, the guy presided across the sensitive and controversial means of merging Aden with the Federation of Southern Arabia.
